About Impact Glocal

Glocal = Global + Local. We bring global expertise in AI education to the organizations that need it most, delivered locally and personally.

What We Stand For

Impact Glocal Inc. was born from a question: why does AI education only reach the people who already have technical backgrounds?

Our founder, Qaisar Roonjha, spent years working in community development across South Asia — building innovation labs in rural Balochistan, launching youth development programs, and connecting underserved communities to technology. When generative AI emerged as the most transformative technology of our era, he saw the same pattern repeating: the people who could benefit most from AI were the last to access it.

So he built Urdu AI — a platform that made generative AI education accessible in Urdu, for learners with no technical background at all. It became the largest Urdu-language AI education platform in the world, with Amazon-published guides, university partnerships, and thousands of engaged learners.

Impact Glocal brings that same approach to Canada and beyond. We take what we learned making AI accessible across languages and cultures, and apply it to the organizations that drive our communities: nonprofits, schools, small businesses, and social enterprises. We simplify AI. We deliver it in person. And we focus on results that matter to the people we serve.

Our Story

Qaisar is a graduate of the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. He is an Acumen Fellow (2025), a Global Changemaker, and recipient of the Prime Minister’s Youth Excellence Award — presented by the Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan for contributions to youth development and social impact.

Before founding Impact Glocal, Qaisar led WANG (Welfare Association for New Generation), establishing WALI — the first rural innovation lab in Balochistan — and building partnerships with USAID, AVPN, and universities across Pakistan. He is a published author with two Amazon-available AI guides in Urdu and a regular speaker on AI education, digital inclusion, and social innovation.

Meet the Founder

Accessibility: AI education should not require a computer science degree. We make it accessible to every team, in every language, at every skill level.

Honesty: We will tell you when AI isn’t the right solution. We don’t sell AI for AI’s sake. We sell outcomes.

The Human Touch: We believe AI adoption is fundamentally a human challenge, not a technical one. Our in-person, relationship-based approach reflects that.

Glocal Impact: We combine global expertise with local delivery. Whether it’s a school in Winnipeg or a nonprofit in Lahore, we bring world-class AI education to where it’s needed.
